With their beachfront wedding in the Heart of Station Zero, newlyweds Joven and Kate Rasgo's romance was an inspiring idyll that left them and their guests spellboundWhile getting married on Valentine's Day is romance enough for most lovers, one couple chose to up the ante and made their vows over the sound of gently splashing waves upon Boracay's glistening white coastline.Joven and Kate Rasgo met while both were working in Dubai and, as their relationship blossomed, they made the decision to say their "I Do's" in an intimate ceremony with their nearest and dearest around them in a location that is close to becoming paradise on earth."We wanted a beach wedding," Kate explains when asked as to what exactly they had in mind for their nuptials. "We love Boracay, it's my favorite place - and Joven is actually from nearby Aklan. Having been an OFW in Dubai for six years, I always try to go back to the island whenever I come home to the Philippines; so having [our wedding] on Crimson's beachfront was outstanding and a dream come true for me."The Rasgos chose Crimson Resort and Spa Boracay for their beachfront wedding, aiming to create an intimate and meaningful sunset ceremony."It was really nice," Joven recalls fondly. "Crimson was secluded, there weren't a lot of people around. With its ambiance and view, it was a perfect venue for us."

An Ocean of Memories

The wedding was truly memorable from start to finish. The couple found themselves and their guests fabulously welcomed almost as soon as they set foot in Station Zero.Joven remembers what they encountered when they came into Crimson's Arrivals Center: the warmth and friendliness of the team.&nbsp;

An Interactive Affair

"Everybody was really good," he says of the welcoming committee. "All of them: the staff, and the drummers - they even gave us complimentary drinks!”"We didn't expect such a welcome!" Kate exclaims. "There were drummers, and we also got some goodies for our stay."Thanks to the efforts of the Crimson Boracay team, the couple and their guests found themselves in a whirlwind of exceptional and engaging activities to delight participants of all ages.

"Personally, it was important to have activities," Joven explains. "[With an event like ours,] you're not going to have time to chat with everybody, especially when you have a set schedule. Crimson Boracay made it very easy for us to set up [a variety of activities for our guests] during our reception to ensure that everyone was having a good time."During the reception, guests found themselves having the time of their lives thanks to the provision of message cards on which to convey their best wishes to the newlyweds; a SpinCam that certainly amplified the glamor of the event; even Jenga sets at the tables with which to while away the time even as they made new friends among the crowd.It was also a point in Crimson's favor that the menu selected for the reception offered something for everyone, especially because of the dietary restrictions that a number of guests had."We had a limited number of guests, so we didn't want things to be too fancy," Kate says. "Many of our guests were Indian and mostly vegetarian, so they didn't eat pork or beef. [But they were all] very happy with the food - they even wanted to take it home or take it back to their rooms!"

Crimson's numerous amenities, including its kid-friendly Crimzone and the expertly-done treatments at The AUM Spa, made the Rasgos' wedding a truly memorable experience both for them and for the people they loved best. The couple is already planning for another trip as they want to take a deeper dive into all the pleasures that Station Zero has to offer.
